Christmas Music Already? The Piano Guys Holiday Album Releases TODAY!
The other day my husband asked if he could start playing Christmas music already..
It’s still October, dear…
Today is October 22nd, in case you haven’t turned on your smartphone yet. And remember we’re still brainstorming Halloween costumes!
BUT… even though it’s WAY too early (IMO) to start playing holiday music every second of every day; it’s not too early to start looking for new FABULOUS Christmas Music to purchase! (You can start playing it after November 5th… or whatever.)
One of my favorite classical/pop/rock?—how do you describe the amaze-wonderful-iciousness of the piano and cello magic that defines these dudes anyway? I Lo-ove these guys. (And I once saw John Schmidt in concert 20 years ago before he was all famous and WAY before YouTube was a thing.)
Have you seen their YouTube videos? MORE amazingness. Go Look if you haven’t before! Several are filmed on the red rock cliffs near St. George Utah. You’ll thank me.
Are you back? Go ahead. Thank me.
The Piano Guys A Family Christmas Album releases TODAY!
“A Family Christmas will be available as a deluxe set that includes a bonus DVD of their hit holiday music videos, plus a classic Yule Log video featuring all of the songs on the album. I’m dying to see the videos that will go along with the songs.” –Press Release
I was able to listen to several of the holiday songs in advance of the release (I know. LUCKY Huh?) and my favorites are their rendition of ‘Where are You Christmas’ and Good King Wenceslas (how is THAT the correct spelling?). Combining an album filled with classic favorites and modern ‘new faves’ make this a great album for the whole family. All the music is instrumental. Sing along as much as you like. (Even if your teenager hates when you do that.) Don’t look at me, I said it was okay.
Feel free to purchase ALL the Christmas music you like.
But for the love of pumpkins, wait till November to play it!
