Field Trip Anne Springs Close Greenway Photos
This is the beauty of South Carolina.
In the Carolinas the natural parks set aside are called ‘Greenways’. This is the Anne Springs Close Greenway.
Named after… Anne Springs Close, of course.
All photos are taken with my HTC One phone. And edited with XnRetro App.
I’m always looking for great photo editing apps for Android. So far this one has a really nice brightening/contrast/saturation option. And multiple filters for the effects I’m in love with at the moment.
The day started out in the low 50s in early November. And I was worried whether I should take my BIG coat or just a hoodie? Even at 54 degrees and humid (looked like it might rain on us)… I ended up taking my jacket off half way through the field trip!
The geese reminded me to slow down while I was still in the elementary parking lot.
The white cows in the pasture near the trail are VERY busy this time of year.
Seriously. This is NOT the kind of field trip I ever took as a kid.
Okay. THIS BRIDGE. So cool. A suspension wooden bridge hanging from steel cables. Only a few crossed at a time, not because it didn’t seem sturdy enough… but it would start bouncing and swaying and scaring the MOMS on the trip!
