Funny Top Ten WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US TONIGHT….

My little girl was sick a few weekends ago. Her little brother had to fill in for her at the local 5K run/walk the Dad had signed her up for. And then we had to draw straws over who was going to stay home with her from church. (Actually we switched it out, half and half.)

And this past weekend? Poor hubby has a cold.

Wait. Not just a cold.

A MAN COLD.

If you do nothing else all week.
Please Press the little ‘play arrow’ below. ONLY 1 min 24 seconds.

And when you get sick?

OMG THAT was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Reminds me of the Tylenol Cold Amoxcylin episode of last year. I’ll post about that later in the week!

Oh, aren’t you the sweetest person ever?!! And you know how absolutely lame I am….you know how when the video first starts and you can hear the british lady in the background but you can’t see her yet? Well I thought the video was actually of you and your husband and you were just talking in a crazy british accent!!! How lame am I. I was like, wow, she’s got a good british accent, until I realized it wasn’t you!!

My husband doesn’t get sick. He could be coughing up blood, drainage coming out of his eyes, but he’s not sick.

UNFAIR.He had CLEARLY been infected by the insensitive female, and the virus multiplies when it hits testosterone…he never had a chance against her thoughtless onslaught.

So nice to know we are not alone isnt’t. The only time I am allowed to take to my bed is after a c-section and then I still have lots of little visitors!

Okay, okay, have a laugh at our expense. We work all day to earn money for you to have internet service and twitter about, when we’d rather be home with you and the kids. When we get sick, nobody is doing our work at work anymore than somebody comes by to do your work at home when you’re sick (oh, except for the relief society, forgot that, and oh, they also bring you meals? How nice for you.) So we have to crash for a day or two to heal ourselves, otherwise we just let it drag out for weeks and weeks until you say, “jeez, hon, you’ve been sick for like seven weeks.” Yeah, I know.Love, Seth (who’s almost all the way better because he took a day off to sleep)Seths of the world, unite!

I have seen that video several times but always laugh! However, in Peter’s defense I must say that he is actually quite the opposite with colds. He usually doesn’t lay around and act sick unless he has something really bad.
