We Moved Yesterday!

Oh my good Lord in Heaven.
I couldn’t find my shoes this morning. I’m wearing slippers.
I can’t find my kitchen.
We forgot to turn the heat up to a normal temperature last night. FROZE this morning.
Youngest got freaked out in middle of the night and needed to sleep with us.
Internet hasn’t been moved to new house. So I’m back at old house sitting at a card table.
My youngest is mildly sick and home again today.
I am in charge of Relief Society Birthday Dinner TONIGHT!
On the UpSide?
I totally got to sit in our new hot tub last night.
Amen.

Good gracious! I HATE moving — and I haven’t even done it with kids yet! Were they helpful?
I have friends who just bust butt and look totally moved in within like a week — things on the wall, no boxes, comfortable clutter that looks like it accumulated appropriately over a season or so… I am NOT one of those people. It takes me months! But you’re right — a hot tub would take the edge off
The party’s not at your house is it? Maybe the guests could each unpack a box for you!

Wowzers……moving just sucks the life right out of you. Hot tubs, though, make it almost worth it. Good luck with all the unpacking!
