My Instagram Addiction
InstaWinners This Week: Autumn Colors
I love Instagram for what it’s NOT.
It’s not about words. It’s not an app that has become overly commercial.
It’s Just Pictures. Square pictures. Shared between friends.
And I love scrolling through friend’s photos; seeing what they see, little blips and clips of their day.
I take about one photo per day. And I love that I can share that photo directly to Facebook and Twitter as well.
These are midgies. They come out in August and die in mid-September. And they are EVERYWHERE. You wake up to hundreds of them dead outside your front door. Nice. And plenty dead inside your door too. They don’t bite, and apparently only exist in MY TINY TOWN? WEIRD.
My neighbor’s front yard Fall Decor. She’s cooler than I am.
The sunrise. Over the mountain. No I’m not up THAT early, it was 8:15, kids were already at school. THAT’s WHEN it COMES UP in the MOUNTAINS!
First pumpkins of the season. Love the color. And yes. I really like this filter if you can’t tell.
The orange of the pumpkins and the purple/pink of this crazy sunset just make me happy in the most purple-orange way!

How much more glorious can the vision from your front door get? I got goose-bumps from the color of that sky! You are so lucky and I’m very happy for you.
