Kre-o Transformers Make Little Boys HAPPY!
Over the weekend two little boys slipped into a state of happiness playing with new sets of Kre-o building blocks from HASBRO. They were sets from the Transformer series. Using the instruction sheets, they constructed and played literally for HOURS. On a Saturday morning during a busy holiday weekend??
THINK ABOUT THAT PEOPLE; Pure Happiness for a busy mom!!
“I’m really into Kre-o now.
I used to be into video games but I’m really good at KRE-O.”
–my humble 8yrold pronounced.
Each small kit comes with 4 Kre-o dudes. They explained to me: (duh mom) there are 3 good guys in each box and 1 bad guy!
What’s your favorite thing about this set I asked my son:
“The motorcycle! Cuz, look mom it can really launch a missile!”
Well of course it can! (I knew that.)
Beware, you might lose your little boy and his friend all afternoon. And special tip: go buy A Lay-n-Go playmat to hold all your little Kre-o pieces… nothing more painful than stepping on building block!!
What’s mom’s favorite part of Kre-o kits? The PRICE.
And the range of the different sized kits. From very small (think buy as a quick gift to keep the kid entertained on a long drive)… to very large, and worthy of a big event like birthday or Christmas.
Great Gift for the little boy who has been REALLY good this year!!

Did you know?
I wasn’t sure how and why the Kre-o brand came about. I realize Transformers are a Hasbro product (and there are Battleship series kits as well!). But what else??
“In fall 2011, Hasbro brought action and adventure to the construction aisle with the introduction of the KRE-O brand. From favorite characters and high quality materials to unique accessories and collectible mini figures, the KRE-O collection excites builders of all ages. At launch, the KRE-O brand offered twelve building sets featuring popular TRANSFORMERS characters. Each KRE-O TRANSFORMERS set features ‘MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE,’ with two types of builds: deconstruct a robot to create a vehicle, disassemble the vehicle to build a robot. Packed with play, most sets come complete with themed accessories and a poseable KREON mini figure in robot or human form.”
Exciting Breaking MOM News!! STAR TREK is coming!! (Okay… you know what I mean.)
“Transformers and Battleship are both Hasbro owned and operated brands, so they were a natural starting point for KRE-O sets. However, in 2013 KRE-O expands in a big way with an exciting new license: KRE-O Star Trek, based on the upcoming film Star Trek Into Darkness, as well as a new line of KRE-O G.I. Joe sets.” –Hasbro Headquarters
Carissa received Kre-o Tranformer sets (however she never got to play with them!). She took photos of the boys playing with them, but that was it! I think Santa should bring a set just for her. So There. Please note, Amazon links are affiliate links.

I’m in! The smiles on those faces are enough to make me take that leap into tiny toys that seem to find my bare feet with laser precision.

I’ll totally share my boy with you!
But my girls were happy to play with these types of blocks, they just played much differently than the boy does.. you know… building houses and such for their dolls VS shooting each other.

Kre-O had that awesome Battleship earlier this year that came out with the movie–remember? It’s really fun to see what fun the kids can create with these!

Oh awesome… I was impressed with the different sizes of kits… very small (and very affordable) on up to larger sets but still MUCH less $$ than I would have expected… Let me know if you get them??
