#MormonMuslimMoms Week 4 | Parenting In Faith
This has been an amazing little journey.
Thanks so much to everyone who has followed along and hopefully learned as much as I have!
If you haven’t please take a few minutes and read the whole series: #MormonMuslimMoms
First I really want to thank Amanda for her willingness to share her faith and beliefs. It has been fascinating and eye opening to have this little glimpse into her life as a Muslim Woman, a Muslim Mom and now… My Friend.
I am grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to share a tiny portion of my life and my beliefs as a Mormon Mom with her friends and network over on MarocMama.com these past weeks. I am amazed at the positive support from friends and people I don’t even know.
For our final entry in this 4 part series we agreed to spend a moment sharing what it’s like to be a mom in our respective faiths. Parenting our children while living within the belief system we choose to live on a day to day basis.
I’m sad to see this end, but I think it’s also the beginning of a lovely friendship and I hope it has opened more hearts and minds to be willing to see not just Amanda but other Muslim women as women of faith who make their own choices each day.
I believe we are more similar to each other than not?
Being a Mormon Mom
- Today I wrote a post about being a Mormon Mom on Amanda’s blog.
- She wrote about ‘Raising Muslim Kids’ yesterday here on GoodNCrazy.
