Valentine Gift Ideas | Warning Awesome Mom Ahead…

2013 February 13

I may have gone a teensy bit overboard on my kids’ Valentines this year.

(Is that even possible?)

I accidentally Pinterest’d all over myself and found a few Valentine ideas that well… ROCKED. Plus I had a willing accomplice in my friend Amy. (Let’s blame her.)

Yes, we made a phalanx of Robot Valentines for our boys.

Do NOT ask how much it cost. Times 50 kids. Let’s just say, we WIN the award for BEST MOMs of the year.

Juice box, Nerds, Starburst, pipe cleaners, googly eyes and a heart sticker make the perfect ROBOT Valentine box.  Totally worth it. I stole found the idea on Just-Between-Friends.com.

Pop Rocks, You Rock! Valentines for the Girls…

Pop Rocks are surprisingly expensive when you need nearly 60 of them… but these are bubble gum Pop Rocks. I mean, come ON! We had to do it. Thanks to Julie MacDonald for helping with the toppers! (Go see her other February free Printables on Leelou-Blogs.com!)

Don’t leave the teachers out!

Fast, Easy, DIY, CHEAP(!) printable covers for a Diet Coke gift for your Teacher!

This free DIY Printable Teacher Soda Can Wrapper can be found on The Crafting Chicks.

Teens need love too.

They don’t want to make crafty projects, they just want the sweet stuff. So we’re giving out Pretzel Hugs of course!

Unwrap the Hershey’s Hugs, place on Pretzels (the Butter Snaps are the best), place on a cookie pan at 300 degrees for 2 minutes. Then smoosh Valentine colored M&Ms on top. Let cool in the fridge and voilá. A Valentine Hug for the Teenagers in your life.

Now all I have to do is find a Pink Lemonade Cupcake Recipe for our big Valentine Dessert Finish! {Click, click… Pinterest don’t let me down.}

*Feel free to follow me on Pinterest, I’ll help you become a mom rock star too! (Or pretend to be one.)

I like your style. Go big or go home! Please note I will sit and watch via Pinterest from the comfort of my comfy, comfy chair, while you do all the heavy lifting. But I’m cheering you on!

I did pin your yummy “Teen dish” (not that I have teens but I do have a sweet and salty fetish) and am now following you on Pinterest.

    Craft on!
